Chris and I were married this past September at the New Leaf Café in New York City.

Despite having hired Anh for the “Day-of Planning,” she went way beyond the job description and helped me to navigate a number of significant pre-wedding issues. During the months prior to the wedding, we emailed regularly and we met up at the wedding venue twice. Anh was always receptive to what I wanted, and she offered many fantastic ideas that helped make the day that much more special for my husband and me.
On the night before our wedding, Anh was there for the rehearsal dinner, into which she injected a good dose of fun while at the same time managing to establish order amongst our friends and family members. (This was no small feat, given the large personalities who were involved.)
On our wedding day, Anh and her assistant arrived early and spent a great deal of time setting up for the ceremony – and when I arrived at the site, I could not have been more pleased when I saw how perfect everything was.
In addition to setting everything up, Anh was putting out fires all day long.
She helped fix up our wedding cake, which had been mishandled by the rather unprofessional bakery that we had hired.
She also dealt with issues pertaining to missing transportation and a dance floor that turned out to be the wrong size.
(While I was away on my honeymoon, Anh even called several of these vendors on my behalf, in order to help me receive compensation for these screw-ups.)
The best part is that, on my wedding day, I did not even know about any of these issues – not the cake, the transportation, or the dance floor – because Anh had quietly taken care of them all.
